Code of Conduct

At The Park Brewery we have ZERO TOLERANCE for: racism, sexism, homophobia, xenophobia, violence or harassment in any way, shape or form. We will not tolerate any aggressions, microaggressions, innuendos or exclusionary jokes against one another. Sexual language and imagery is not welcome. Our staff are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others at all times.

We recognise the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion, it concerns us all and is the responsibility of all of our team. We will all contribute to ensuring that the Company continues to be a welcoming and productive environment, where there is equality of opportunity, fostered in an environment of mutual respect and dignity. We promote an environment free from discrimination, harassment and victimisation.

All team members are required and encouraged to:

  • Support equality- equal job opportunities and fairness for team members and job applicants in the workplace;
  • Appreciate and understand the nine protected characteristics under the Equality Act; age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation;
  • Promote diversity – by valuing differences between colleagues, for example, race, age, religion or sex (gender);
  • Manage fairly the need for different working patterns, including flexible working, in a 24/7 world where Britain’s working population is becoming ever more diverse.

The Park Brewery’s principle of diversity encompasses acceptance and respect. It means understanding that each individual is unique and recognising our individual differences. We understand that simply having diversity in our team is not enough; we must create an inclusive environment where all people can contribute and reach their full potential.
