Phantom Kolsch-style Lager

Phantom Kolsch-style Lager

Phantom is a tasty Kölsch-Style lager.  It’s a very easy drinking, light 4.2% with a subtle fruity finish.

A special recon unit was formed in 1939 in Richmond Park (Pembroke Lodge) at the beginning of WW2.  The unit played a key role during the war, reporting on allied positions at the front line.  After George Hopkinson conveniently nicknamed ‘Hoppy’ was sent to check out the operations, he changed the focus of messaging to ‘wireless communications’ which became known as ‘Phantom.’

There’s a lot more on this story, which hopefully we’ll elaborate on one day… (when time allows, but for now, there’s more beer to brew).

Buy cans online or visit the brewery to have a pint at the tap room.
