Reasons to be Cheerful

Part 2…

We’ve just re-released this one, stacked with Cascade and then dry hopped with one of our favourites, Vic Secret, this is zingy, grapefruity, tropical, summer pale.  Available in 440ml cans. Order here

All of our beers are named after places or stories in our local park, the national nature reserve, in SW London, Richmond Park.  We’re not the only ones who love it.  Ian Dury of the Blockheads has a bench dedicated to him in Poet’s Corner, inscribed with a title from one of his biggest tracks, “Reasons to be Cheerful.”  Apparently, he loved to bring his children here. It used to be known as the ‘talking bench’ as you could sit admiring the view, while listening to some of their best tunes, via a solar powered MP3 player. After a few years general wear and tear, it was replaced with a QR code on metal plates which can be scanned with a smartphone and you can listen again, to some of their best recordings, including: Hit Me with your Rhythm Stick, What a Waste and of course, Reasons to be Cheerful.

More info on the precise location of the bench, can be found here

Thank you to the Ian Dury Foundation for allowing us to use this name as well as ‘Rhythm Stick’ IPA, which should be back soon!
